EC-316 Direct Soil EC Tester

Operating Information:

1.Press the ON/OFF button to turn the meter ON.
2.Place the probe to the desired depth and saturate the soil if needed
with deionized water.
3.Waiting for the reading to stabilize.
4.After use, rinse the electrode with water to minimize contamination.
Turn the meter off by pressing the OFF key

Calibration.

1.Immerse the meter in the distilled water. Activate it after a few hours.
2.Immerse the meter in 1413 u s/cm calibration solution. And stir it gently
3.Allow the reading to stabilize and with a small screwdriver tum the calibration trimmer until the display shows "1.41"
4.Rinse the electrode with distilled water and suck it with filter paper.

FAQ

Q : Can the product be calibrated by itself? Is calibration fluid delivered?

A : Yes, the product can be calibrated by itself, but EC calibration liquid is not distributed. You need to purchase the EC calibration liquid by yourself. The more you pursue the accuracy, the more you need to calibrate the product frequently within a short period of time.

Q : Does the product distribute batteries? What is the type of battery?

A : Purchase 1 product is usually not delivered, you need to buy it yourself. Purchase more than 5 pieces to distribute the battery, the type of battery is 4x1.5V (AG13)

Battery Install

If the meter can not be switched on or the display fades, To change
batteries. Unscrew the battery compartment cap on the top of the meter and pull out the battery case and replace batteries. Pay attention to the polarity of battery.
