Description:

VU meter/dB meter/power meter passive driver board, stereo, left and right channels are completely independent, with compression function, suitable for tube power amplifier, transistor power amplifier, class D power amplifier, BTL power amplifier, etc.

The driver board does not require a power supply and is easy to install, but because it has no signal amplification function, it is suitable for tube amplifiers and transistor amplifiers with larger output power. Because the left and right channels are completely independent, it is also suitable for BTL output power amplifiers.

Features:

1. The input part is changed to voltage doubler rectification, which improves the sensitivity of the driver board and has a wider application range.

2. The meter head protection diode is installed to protect the pointer meter head coil from overvoltage and prevent the meter head from being burnt.

3. The input terminal is connected with two resistors in series, and a sensitivity selection switch can be added (use a switch to short-circuit a resistor).

4. Adding a damping adjustment circuit can make some low-end meter pointers swing softer, and the effect is more beautiful.

Recommended to match the parameters of the level meter/power meter: internal resistance 650 ohms, sensitivity 0.5mA.

Sensitivity test of the drive board: Input 1KHz sine wave signal, 0.4V, and the pointer of the meter head is at +5db. At this time, the corresponding power is 0.02W (8 ohm speaker).
