The four-in-one soil analyzer is mainly used to test soil ph, moisture and humidity, temperature and plant light intensity. It USES a 9V carbon battery with a simple operation and a probe length of 200mm.
The instrument displays the parameters measured by liquid crystal display.

Precautions for the use of soil tester :

1. Can the product be calibrated?
A: The product cannot be calibrated by itself

2. Can the product measure liquids?
A: No, the product is a soil tester and cannot directly measure water. Soaking the product probe in the water will allow water to enter the product, destroy the electronic components of the product, and cause the product to fail to work normally.

3. Can the product measure sand and sandy soil?
A: No, the product cannot measure the pH of sand and sandy soil

4. The product cannot be used, can I disassemble the product by myself?
A: No, if there is a problem with the product, please do not check the product by yourself. Please provide us with pictures and videos in time. After we review, we will compensate you

Measuring range and reference data

1. Illumination measurement

A. press the ON button to turn ON the instrument
B. Aim at the highest point light source light sensor window.
C. the current light intensity will be displayed on the LCD.
Note: do not block light or create shadows for light sensors

2. PH range measurement

A. Push the [PH/℃] button on the back to the PH position.
B. Insert the probe vertically into the soil and test as soon as possible.
C. press the button [ON] to start measuring.
D. The PH value of the test will be displayed on the LCD
E. Measure several times to get the exact value required.
Note:
1. Insert the probe vertically, at the edge of the middle stem.
2. Please gently push into the soil to avoid damaging the probe.
3. If the measured soil is too dry or fertile to give an accurate PH, the user can sprinkle water and measure it again half an hour later

3. Moisture measurement

A push the [PH/℃] button on the back to the ℃ position
B insert into the soil as vertically as possible.
C press NO key to start measuring
D soil moisture values will be displayed on the LCD screen.
E is measured several times to get the exact value needed.

4. Temperature measurement;

A when measuring humidity, the value of soil temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen at the same time.
B. Press the button of [℃/℉ OFF] to set the humidity display to be ℃ or ℉.
Note: if the user does not insert the probe into the soil, the correct ambient temperature of the external space is displayed.


Soil ph
Soil ph is also called "soil reaction".
It's an acid-base reaction of a soil solution.
Mainly depends on the concentration of hydrogen ions in the soil solution, expressed in terms of pH.
A solution with a pH of 7 is neutral;
Acidic reaction occurs when the pH value is less than 7.
A pH greater than 7 is a basic reaction.

Soil acidity can be generally divided into the following grades:
