Introduction:

The Close-up filter is a simple secondary lens used to enable macro photography without requiring a specialized primary lens. They work identically to reading glasses, allowing any primary lens to focus more closely.

The Close-up lenses typically mount on the filter thread of the primary lens, and are manufactured and sold by suppliers of photographic filters.

While some single-element close-up lenses produce images with severe aberrations, there are also high-quality close-up lenses composed as achromatic doublet which are capable of producing excellent images, with pretty low loss of sharpness.

The Close-Up Lens Set is a set of four close-up lenses for use in achieving macro-like results with almost any lens you pair them with. Close-up lenses are essentially diopters that you place over your lens in order to lessen the minimum focus distance by the amount specified on the filter. You can combine the filters together to increase their strength and to fine tune your close-up settings.

All glass is in very good condition-clear and scratch free. Case is very well used but still does the job. Great for anamorphic experimenters!
