Why the description theroretical power higher than test result actual power?
1). LED Watts vs. Power Consumption
Because an LED can be driven at its full capacity doesn't mean there is benefit in doing so. For example, a 3W LED can be driven at 3W, a 5W LED can be driven at 5W, etc. Driving an LED at maximum power generates higher temperature, which decreases lifespan. A balance between LED wattage and the lights; other components, such as the heatsink, allow for maximum operating efficiency and light output, while prolonging life expectancy.
2). Raw vs. Effective Lumens
Lumen rating is typically one of the major factors used to valuate LED lights. But are those lumen numbers raw lumens, or effective lumens? What's the difference?
In the examples below, the LEDs are rated at 100 lumens each. Factors such as heat, lenses, and driving power of LEDs will affect the Raw Lumen value, resulting in a lower value which is the actual, or effective lumen output.
Why there is water vapor in lights after it was used for a period of time?
When the lights shine, it generates a lot of heat. Glass mists up because of sudden condensation when warm air inside comes into contact with a cold surface, Normally it happens in winter. If this happens, please park your car in the garage and make sure it is under constant temperature, then light it up for 30-50 minutes, the water vapor will disappear.
Why the light isn’t working after installation?
First, please check it again if all the lines are connected well. Second, leave the light out of the car, and then test it with an external charger to see whether the light can work well or not. Third, use your own line group to test if the light can work. If you have done all these three produces, and it still can not work, please contact us, we will help you solve the problem.
Why the light is not bright enough (Lumen/Wattage lower than description)?
The light shape is determined by your Auto Assembly. Normally, the theoretical power is the total power of all lamp beads, but the actual working power is only two-thirds to three quarters of the lamp beads. Because full load will affect the life of Led. And all the Led products have the same problem. Hope you can understand that. If it affects your using and you do not want to keep it, please contact us, we will offer you the return address.
