Familiarity was the direction Sanwa took with this updated model. The original silent JLF joystick used four separate Omron microswitches with .187 fastener connection, and a 5-pin converter cable. The JLF-TPRG-8AYT-SK puts thes microswitches back on the familiar TPMA PCB enclosure with 5-pin harness. Now, installing is as simple as the reliable Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick.

SINGLE MOLD RESTRICTOR PLATE, OMRON D2RV-G-SD2 MICROSWITCH
Not just a change of color, Sanwa's new restrictor plate is designed to as a single piece for precise control. The restrictor plate can eliminate the slight wobble present in the original GT-8F's separate pieces - the insert and gate itself. That said, those looking for octagonal control can still install the Sanwa GT-Y Octagonal Restrictor Gate onto this joystick.

The JLF-TPRG-8AYT-SK's control PCB uses Omron D2RV-G-SD2 microswitch, providing an even quieter operation and more responsive actuation.
